Using the service

By using this service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and permitted to use the service where you live. Only connect accounts you are authorized to access. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with others’ sessions, or upload malicious or unlawful content. There is no fee for this experience at present.

What your result means

The app maps measurable portfolio characteristics to four fictional houses using documented rules. Scores are not a validated personality assessment, investment recommendation, suitability assessment, prediction, or financial risk rating. Commentary may be humorous and exaggerated. It is based on available portfolio signals, which can be incomplete or out of date. Do not buy, sell, or change investments because of a result. Consult a qualified professional for financial, tax or legal advice.

SnapTrade and third-party connections

Live access depends on approved OAuth configuration, SnapTrade availability, and supported accounts. The app requests read access and implements no trading or money movement. Third-party terms and privacy policies also apply. You remain responsible for your accounts. You may disconnect at any time using Delete my data and your SnapTrade Dashboard. Availability and classification coverage vary; unsupported portfolios may be declined rather than assigned a misleading result.

Privacy and sharing

Our Privacy Policy describes processing and retention. Share cards and links contain derived house scores; review what you choose to post. You give the service only the permissions necessary to process your chosen account data and generate your requested result. We claim no ownership of your financial information.

Intellectual property and non-affiliation

Original interface code, illustrations and writing are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share the generated social cards for personal, lawful use. Harry Potter, Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and related names and marks belong to their respective rights holders. This independent fan experience is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros. Entertainment, or Wizarding World.

Original artwork and this notice do not grant a trademark or character license. Public use of the Hogwarts-branded version remains subject to appropriate IP review and any necessary permission. No clearance is represented by these terms.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranty of uninterrupted availability, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free results. We may suspend access for maintenance, abuse prevention, legal requirements or provider outages. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss from using the entertainment service. Nothing excludes rights, warranties or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

Local law and changes

Applicable mandatory consumer and privacy rights continue to apply, including those available in Canada and Quebec. These draft terms do not select a foreign venue or waive those protections. Operator identity, governing-law wording and any required French-language version must be reviewed before a Quebec launch. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date.
